Mendinismi by Alessandro Mendini

Alessandro Mendini’s collection is in fiberglass, a material the Maestro knew very well. When we started thinking about the range, he wanted to reclaim the Italian artisanal tradition of fiberglass (for decades all the carousels were made in Italy and exported around the world), creating objects where shapes, proportions and graphics would be always related to each other.

Each shape and decoration correspond to a specific vase. Shapes and decorations cannot be mixed up because they have cultural roots which links them to one another.

Mendinismi is a collection inspired by different cultures, from the Etruscan to the Chinese to the French one, from which each vase takes its name.

The theoretic diligence finds a wonderful practical lightness between colours and original graphics… truly ‘Mendinismi’.
